Rachel Jean-Baptiste receives National Endowment for the Humanities grant

Rachel Jean-Baptiste, the Michelle Mercer and Bruce Golden Family Professor in Feminist and Gender Studies, faculty director of the Program in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and professor in the Department of History, and her collaborators, including Richard Roberts, the Frances and Charles Field Professor of History, Emeritus, have been awarded a 2024 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The funding will support the Senegal Liberations Project, which is hosted at Stanford's Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis.
