Jorge Ramos named California Academy of Sciences fellow
Jorge Ramos, executive director of Stanford's Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve ('Ootchamin 'Ooyakma), has been inducted as a fellow of the California Academy of Sciences. Fellows help support the mission of the academy and are scientists and leaders who have made "notable contributions to scientific research, education, and communication." They are nominated for fellowship by their peers and selected by the academy's trustees.
