James Gross receives 2025 Grawemeyer Award in Psychology

James Gross, the Ernest R. Hilgard Professor and professor in the Department of Psychology, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Grawemeyer Award in Psychology. The annual award is given to recognize those who share outstanding original and creative ideas in all areas of psychological science. Gross was recognized for creating and developing the field of emotion regulation, as well as studying the ways people manage their feelings.
